Marvelous Paragraphs

Good Night and Good Luck

What was most interesting about this movie was the way it was filmed. Not just that it was black and white, but it looked like television-standard black and white filming in the 50's. Many of the whites were too bright to the point of glaring.

Also, it is very well cast. I've long loved David Stathairn and am excited that he got this great role that should give him an Oscar nomination.

The movie can be a little preachy. I'd read that in review, and it is so. But the preachy is topical, so it can be somewhat excused.
