I thought this was a really fun film. It isn't a great film, but quite fun. And the men don't look bad either!

Of course it is the visual artistry that stands out, and it is well worth it. However there is an artificiality that I don't think the plot and acting overcomes.

I enjoyed the grotesqueries and fantastical elements.

There are so many excellent stories from literature and history that I wish more films were made of. I'm glad to have this enjoyable, engaging film about the Battle of Thermopylae.
